Job summary

London South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking to provide high-quality learning and accessibility support to learners with SEND, including enabling access to programmes, helping learners engage with College services and supporting the development of study skills identified in EHCPs.

The role involves personal care or mobility assistance as needed, with sensitivity and dignity. You will work with individuals or small groups, adapting your approach to diverse needs while fostering independence.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required.
• Experience with safeguarding and understanding barriers faced by learners with additional needs.
• Ability to support learners with personal care or mobility needs.
• Good organisation and administrative practices, with reliable IT abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality learning and accessibility support to learners with SEND.
• Enable learners to access College services and activities.
• Support development of learning/study skills and outcomes identified in EHCPs.
• Work with individuals or small groups, adapting style to meet diverse needs.
