Job summary

Equilibrium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to lead, develop and deliver training across the organisation. The role combines strategic responsibility for the L&D function with practical delivery to staff, ensuring training meets regulatory and health and social care needs.

You will work with employees, HR and senior leaders to prioritise training, design programmes and manage budgets, while personally delivering classroom-based training with the existing

Qualifications

• Experience as a Learning and Development Manager or similar.
• Experience designing and evaluating workplace training programmes.
• Confident trainer who can engage groups and adapt delivery.
• Ability to manage both the strategic function and hands-on delivery of training.
• Knowledge of coaching, workshops, classroom, mentoring and e-learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication, IT and planning skills.
• Ability to translate policies and regulatory requirements into training.

Responsibilities

• Determine and assess organisational, service and employee training needs.
• Create and implement training strategies, materials and programmes linked to business objectives.
• Personally deliver classroom-based, workshop and practical training alongside existing trainers.
• Identify and implement training reflecting health and social care needs of people in services.
• Plan and coordinate annual training programme across the organisation.
