Job summary

AE Talent Solutions is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist for a community-based role based in Lancaster and Morecambe. You will manage your own caseload, deliver IPS-based employment support, and work with healthcare partners to help participants achieve sustained employment.

You will build relationships with local employers to create opportunities, provide CV help and interview coaching, and promote inclusive recruitment and workplace wellbeing. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience helping people into employment or supporting them to remain in work.
• Experience managing your own caseload or workload.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong coaching, motivational and active listening skills.
• Able to engage confidently with employers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants with long-term health conditions and barriers to employment.
• Deliver person-centred employment support using the IPS model.
• Complete vocational profiles and develop tailored employment action plans.
• Assist with CV writing, job searching, applications and interview prep.
• Coach and motivate individuals to achieve sustainable employment.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify vacancies and opportunities.
• Meet employers to promote inclusive recruitment and discuss workplace adjustments.
• Collaborate with NHS, referral partners and community organisations.
• Provide in-work support to participants and employers to promote retention.
