Job summary

Reed is recruiting on behalf of a local authority in central London for 4x client-side Project Managers to support housing development and major works delivery. The role focuses on governance, contract management and coordinating across residents, leaseholders and contractors.

Ideal candidates have strong client-side project experience and a customer-focused approach to improving homes and neighbourhoods within social housing and community schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, construction, regeneration or major works.
• Knowledge of delivering new build development projects and property improvement programmes.
• Strong communication with wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience of governance, contract management and contractor liaison.
• Customer-focused with drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Understanding of social housing or public sector environments advantageous.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of housing development, estate improvement and major works projects.
• Provide client-side project management across a varied programme of social housing and community schemes.
• Assist with governance processes, reporting and project controls to ensure effective decision-making.
• Manage and monitor contracts, consultants and contractors to support successful project outcomes.
• Work closely with internal teams, residents, leaseholders and external stakeholders.
• Track project progress, risks, budgets and key milestones, escalating issues where required.
• Help ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, compliance and performance standards.
• Contribute to a customer-focused approach that keeps residents and service users at the centre of delivery.
