Reed is recruiting on behalf of a local authority in central London for 4x client-side Project Managers to support housing development and major works delivery. The role focuses on governance, contract management and coordinating across residents, leaseholders and contractors.

Ideal candidates have strong client-side project experience and a customer-focused approach to improving homes and neighbourhoods within social housing and community schemes.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Support the delivery of housing development, estate improvement and major works projects.

• Manage and monitor contracts, consultants and contractors to support successful project outcomes.
• Work closely with internal teams, residents, leaseholders and external stakeholders.
• Track project progress, risks, budgets and key milestones, escalating issues where required.
• Help ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, compliance and performance standards.

Client-Side Project Manager

Job Type: Permanent 4x

Location: City of London

Salary: £53,200 - £72,000 per annum depending on experience

We are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in central London for 4x client-side Project Managers to support the delivery of housing development and major works projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to join a collaborative team delivering improvements across social housing, regeneration, refurbishment and community-focused schemes.

This Project Manager position would suit someone with strong client-side project experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine commitment to improving homes and neighbourhoods. The successful Project Manager will play a key role in governance, contract management and the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion.

Day to day of the role

• Support the delivery of housing development, estate improvement and major works projects.
• Provide client-side project management across a varied programme of social housing and community schemes.
• Assist with governance processes, reporting and project controls to ensure effective decision-making.
• Manage and monitor contracts, consultants and contractors to support successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous project management experience, ideally within housing, construction, regeneration or major works.
• Knowledge of supporting the delivery of new build development projects and property improvement programmes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience of client-side governance, contract management and contractor liaison.
• A customer-focused approach with strong drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of social housing or public sector environments would be advantageous.
• Successful applicants will be required to complete a standard DBS check.
