Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment in London is partnering with a leading housing association to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for Supported Housing. The role will oversee multiple sites, driving performance, safeguarding and service development across the region.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supported housing, strong safeguarding knowledge, and a track record of managing budgets while engaging with Commissioners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing supported housing or related services for adults with diverse support needs.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of housing law and welfare benefits.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and driving performance in multi-site settings.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multi-site teams to deliver high-quality supported housing services.
• Drive performance against KPIs, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements.
• Embed a strong safeguarding culture, overseeing incidents, complaints, and risk management.

Contract details

Salary: 32.08ph PAYE or 42.60ph umbrella

Location: Farringdon, London

Job Type: Contract - 4 months

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing supported housing or support services for adults with various support needs such as homelessness, mental health issues, refugees, etc.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, housing law, welfare benefits, and best practices in supported housing.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and driving performance in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing budgets and delivering cost-effective services.
