Job summary

We Are With You in Scunthorpe is seeking a part-time High Intensity CBT Therapist to support adults facing mental health challenges alongside substance misuse. You will deliver High Intensity CBT interventions, conduct assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans within our drug and alcohol services.

You will manage your own caseload, work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidential clinical records and partake in supervision and CPD, with BABCP accreditation or progression

Qualifications

• Qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist with postgraduate CBT training.
• BABCP accreditation, or working towards accreditation within an agreed timeframe.
• Significant experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapies to adults.
• Experience completing comprehensive psychological assessments, risk assessments and routine outcome monitoring.
• Strong understanding of anxiety, depression and how mental health difficulties can present alongside drug and alcohol use.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build therapeutic relationships with distressed clients.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and with external partner organisations.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and trauma-informed care.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflective practice and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based High Intensity CBT interventions to adults accessing our drug and alcohol services in Scunthorpe.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, develop formulations and create collaborative treatment plans.
• Manage your own caseload with safe, effective and timely delivery of therapy.
• Assess and manage clinical risk within your scope of practice with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless care and referrals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records per governance standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision, CPD and service evaluation activities.
• Support service development through audits, outcome monitoring and sharing best practice.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion while delivering trauma-informed care.
