Job summary

WithYou in Scunthorpe is seeking a part-time High Intensity CBT Therapist to support adults with mental health challenges alongside substance use. You will deliver evidence-based CBT, conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans and manage a varied caseload in a multidisciplinary service.

The role demands trauma-informed, person-centred care, strong communication and safeguarding, with 22.5 hours across three days. Salary is £50,000 per annum, with closing date 8 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in High Intensity CBT or equivalent with postgraduate CBT training.
• BABCP accreditation or in accreditation process within agreed timeframe.
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapies to adults with common mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver High Intensity CBT to adults in drug and alcohol services in Scunthorpe.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload with safe, timely delivery of therapy.
• Assess and manage clinical risk within scope of practice.
• Maintain confidential clinical records per governance standards.
• Engage in supervision, CPD and service evaluation activities.
