Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board’s Integrated Psychological Therapies Service (IPTS) in Pembrokeshire is seeking a High Intensity CBT Therapist to join our psychological therapies team. You will provide high-quality CBT to adults with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, including complex presentations, and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• BABCP-accredited CBT therapist with High Intensity experience.
• Experience in assessment, formulation and treatment planning for moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
• Ability to deliver high-quality CBT and supervise CBT trainees and practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and conduct comprehensive psychological assessments.
• Formulate and deliver evidence-based treatment plans; undertake risk assessments.
• Provide clinical supervision and specialist consultation to CBT colleagues and trainees.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to clinical governance.
• Manage own caseload in line with service targets and plans.
