Job summary

Hesley Group is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer to advise and support managers across our multi-site organisation. You will help maintain governance, contribute to the IMS, and promote a proactive risk management culture focused on safety and quality.

You will develop policies, carry out risk assessments, incidents investigations and audits, and produce reports to drive improvements. This role requires practical H&S coaching and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must possess NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review H&S policies and procedures.
• Ensure robust risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Carry out audits, inspections and monitoring activities; produce clear reports.
• Support continuous improvement and governance for IMS aligned to ISO 45001/9001.
• Provide practical H&S advice and coach colleagues to promote a proactive safety culture.
