Recorra Limited is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety across multiple sites, including Purfleet, Lancing, Hastings and London-area customer sites. This permanent, full-time role is based on a 40-hour week with travel expectations and a competitive salary plus company car.

You will drive policy development, risk assessments, incident investigations and safety training, collaborating with site managers and operations to embed a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role ideally within waste, logistics or a related heavy industrial environment.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; IOSH membership preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Practical experience across Health & Safety management systems, auditing, incident investigation and risk management.
• Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsabilités

• Build strong relationships across operational, site and leadership teams to promote safety excellence and embed a strong safety culture
• Develop, implement and monitor safety policies and procedures ensuring alignment with industry standards and legal requirements
• Conduct risk assessments, site visits, safety inspections and compliance audits across all Recorra sites to identify and address hazards
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented
• Monitor safety performance, identify trends and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies
• Manage and maintain emergency procedures across all Recorra sites
