Job summary

isepglobal is seeking a Senior Health Safety and Environment Manager to lead a strategic HSE function across the UK, including head office in Newcastle and multi-site operations. The role requires a proactive leader who can influence at board level and deliver a robust safety culture.

You will manage complex safety priorities across manufacturing, logistics and retail environments, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, risk management, compliance frameworks.
• Multisite management across supply chain and retail stores.
• Coaching and mentoring a team.
• Strategic Health, Safety and Environment leadership in a fast-paced business.
• Senior-level credibility with operational understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Health and Safety strategy aligned to growth and best practice.
• Grow, coach and empower the H&S team and wider SHE community.
• Oversee the Management System with governance and risk controls.
• Engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Use data and trend analysis to drive performance and planning.
• Provide leadership on H&S legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through reporting and interventions.
• Maintain oversight of risk profile and embed organisational learning.
• Lead and develop a high-performing SHE function and community.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive continuous SHE improvements.
