Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd seeks a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to lead two supported living services in Doune and Falkirk, Scotland, working alongside the Registered Manager to drive high standards of care and outcomes for people we support.

You will lead by example, inspire teams, and ensure person-centred support remains at the heart of everything we do, across day-to-day operations and service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within health and social care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred support.
• Understanding of quality, safeguarding and governance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the care team to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
• Foster a positive culture aligned with our values.
• Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance development.
• Ensure services meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain positive outcomes for people we support and their families.
• Support budgets, occupancy and resource management.
• Manage incidents and drive service improvements.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide hands-on leadership.
