Job summary

Swanton Care is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead two supported living services in Doune and Falkirk, with regular travel between sites. You’ll work alongside the Registered Manager to deliver outstanding care, develop high‑performing teams and drive quality, governance and person‑centred support.

You’ll lead by example, inspire teams, support recruitment, training and supervision, and ensure the people we support achieve their goals and independence across the locality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within health and social care.
• Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, resilient and solution-focused.
• Knowledge of quality, safeguarding responsibilities.

• Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
• Promote a positive culture where our values are lived every day.
• Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance development.
• Ensure people we support are empowered to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
• Build strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners and community partners.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, compliance and governance.
• Support financial performance, budgets, occupancy and resource management.
• Manage incidents, complaints and service improvements effectively.
• Ensure safe, effective and compassionate support is delivered consistently.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide hands-on leadership when required.
• Help drive continuous improvement and innovation across services.
