Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Deputy Manager for a supported living service in Hemel Hempstead. The role is a permanent, full-time position on a 40-hour week, with a Monday to Friday pattern and a mix of office management and limited on-site care.

You will support the Registered Manager, line manage staff, and ensure CQC, safeguarding and current legislation are followed. The salary is £29,993 per annum, with driving licence and relevant supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care required.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Experience supervising in adult social care.
• Experience with rota management, care plans and liaising with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support Registered Manager with running services.
• Line manage and lead staff teams in office and services.
• Ensure CQC, safeguarding and legislation compliance.
• Carry out managerial office duties with some direct care as needed.
