Centrica, via its British Gas brand, seeks a Commercial Conduct Risk & Governance Lead to support good customer outcomes across Centrica Home Energy. You’ll provide practical conduct advice balancing customer, regulatory and commercial considerations, and challenge across propositions, journeys, policies and decisions.

Working with teams across Commercial, Product, Marketing, Customer Operations, Regulatory, Legal and Risk, you’ll identify and manage conduct and regulatory risks while ensuring

Formación

• Experience in regulatory compliance, conduct risk, governance or risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into practical business advice.
• Confidence influencing and constructively challenging stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills, including producing governance papers, reporting or management information.
• A commercial mindset with a strong focus on achieving good customer outcomes.
• Knowledge of the energy sector or gas and electricity supply Standard Licence Conditions (SLCs) would be advantageous but isn't essential.

• Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for the business.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on our customers and commercial activities.
• Support governance forums, risk assessments and the development of effective controls.
• Review policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, effective and fit for purpose.
• Use customer and conduct data to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide constructive challenge to support good decision making.
