Job summary

British Gas is seeking a Commercial Conduct Risk & Governance Lead to support good customer outcomes across Centrica Home Energy. The role focuses on providing practical conduct guidance, identifying and managing regulatory risks, and translating complex rules into actionable business advice.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Product, Marketing, Customer Operations, Regulatory, Legal and Risk teams to ensure compliant decisions and robust controls. Hybrid UK locations offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments and interpreting regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on customer propositions, journeys, communications and commercial decisions.
• Identify and help manage conduct, customer and regulatory risks.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for the business.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on customers and activities.
• Support governance forums, risk assessments and development of effective controls.
• Review policies to ensure they are current and fit for purpose.
• Use customer and conduct data to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Produce clear insight and reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
