Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking passionate Children’s Support Workers across the West Midlands. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, support education and life skills, and accompany children to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Full UK drivers licence and own car.
• Patience, empathy and emotional resilience.
• Flexible approach, including waking nights, weekends and sleep-in when required.
• A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported.
• Build positive relationships and promote healthy routines.
• Prepare meals, support education, and encourage life skills.
• Advocate for the voice of the child and ensure they feel heard and valued.
• Support medical appointments and community activities.
• Use your own vehicle to transport young people when needed.
• Help them move forward with confidence into their next chapter.
