Job summary

CareTech Lavender is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker to help our young people feel safe, valued and supported in a home environment. You will assist with daily routines, sleep-ins, transport, and activities while documenting progress and updating care plans. A UK driving licence is essential.

We value warm, patient individuals who listen well, communicate clearly, and stay consistent. Training is provided and career development is encouraged within the residential care setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Ability to work towards a Level 4 qualification in Children'S Residential Care.
• Open to ongoing development and learning with support from your manager, your team and the company.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines, including school/college prep and meals.
• Ensure care plans are up to date and reflect children’s feedback and needs.
• Build strong relationships and provide emotional support to young people.
• Assist with light housekeeping and participate in day trips, activities and trips.
