Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker for a children's home in Kempsey, Worcester. You will support children aged 8-18 facing Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and help empower their development in a caring environment.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, being over 21, and a willingness to commute to Worcestershire. The position offers a structured training path, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive team focused

Qualificações

• Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in healthcare or social care settings is advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK manual driver's licence and be over 21 to commute to Worcestershire.

Responsabilidades

• Encourage young people to participate in age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the children's home.
• Manage challenging behaviours safely and sympathetically.
• Protect children from health and welfare risks.
• Support independence and well-being.
• Ensure safety by following care plans and guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers and other professionals.
