Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a part-time Child Sexual Exploitation and Missing from Home Caseworker to support at risk young people. You will perform Return Home Interviews after missing episodes, undertake direct work, and coordinate with Children's Social Care and Staffordshire Police to reduce risk.

The role requires direct experience with vulnerable youth, safeguarding knowledge, and strong assessment and case-management skills.

Qualifications

• Direct, one-to-one work with vulnerable young people.
• Knowledge of exploitation, missing episodes and safeguarding law.
• Experience in assessment, action planning and reviewing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely Return Home Interviews following missing episodes.
• Deliver targeted interventions to reduce risk of exploitation.
• Develop and review intervention and vulnerability plans with families.
