Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with challenging behaviour/SEMH in PRU/youth settings.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Ability to set boundaries and follow behaviour plans.
• Flexible, with strong communication and safeguarding commitment.
• Sports, youth work or mentoring background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on 1:1 and small group basis, helping them to engage in learning and regulate emotions.
• Assist in managing challenging behaviour and high-risk behaviours using positive behaviour strategies.
• Build strong, professional relationships with pupils and work closely with staff to support development.
• Collaborate with SEN professionals and external agencies to support pupils' progress.
