Job summary

AWD online is recruiting a Behaviour Change Practitioner to support adults and young people across Kent in a hybrid role. You will deliver CBT and DBT-informed interventions one-to-one and in groups across community, probation, prison, police and online settings, combining empathy with accountability to promote safer behaviours and positive outcomes for individuals and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience within risk management or safeguarding frameworks.
• Experience managing a caseload and prioritising effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional boundaries.
• Experience delivering support face-to-face and remotely.
• Good IT, administration and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, inductions and personalised intervention planning.
• Deliver CBT/DBT-informed one-to-one and group interventions.
• Support participants to recognise and change harmful behaviours with accountability.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce reports and progress updates.
• Collaborate with police, probation, prisons, safeguarding and other professionals.
• Contribute to risk management processes including MASH and MAPPA forums where required.
• Participate in clinical and management supervision and continuous learning.
• Safely manage challenging, resistant or high-risk behaviours while remaining calm and professional.
