Job summary

AWD online is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Change Practitioner to support adults and young people in Surrey through hybrid site-based and remote work.

You will deliver CBT/DBT-informed interventions, manage risk and safeguarding with partner agencies, and maintain clear records while working across community, probation, prison, police and remote settings.

Experience in caseload management, safeguarding, and strong communication is essential, with DBS clearance required.

Qualifications

• Experience working within risk management or safeguarding frameworks.
• Experience managing a caseload and prioritising effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessments, inductions and personalised intervention planning.
• Deliver CBT/DBT-based one-to-one and group interventions.
• Maintain accurate case records, reports and progress updates.
• Collaborate with police, probation, prisons and safeguarding teams.
• Contribute to risk management processes including MASH/MAPPA if required.
• Participate in clinical and management supervision.
• Safely manage challenging behaviours while maintaining boundaries.
