Job summary

Perth and Kinross Council is hiring a Childcare Supervisor for Invergowrie Kids Club. The role is 20 hours per week, term-time after school, with duties to manage and develop high-quality play experiences.

You will lead a small staff team, plan daily activities, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for children from Primary 1 to age 14. The post requires SSSC registration within 3 months and a childcare qualification from the listed options.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a team of professionals and communicate effectively to motivate staff and engage with children.
• Excellent planning, organisation and record-keeping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the after-school service and staff team.
• Plan and organise a range of activities suitable for children aged 4–14.
• Maintain registration and financial records and work with parents and professionals.
