Job summary

Perth and Kinross Council is recruiting a Childcare Supervisor for Luncarty Wraparound Care, covering term-time before/after school and holiday periods. The role involves 26 hours per week during term-time and 36 hours per week during holidays, with responsibility for a small staff team and quality play experiences for children aged 3 to end of Primary 7.

Qualifications

• Child-focused role requiring sensitivity, patience and compassion.
• Genuine interest in development and wellbeing of children.
• Supervisory experience with strong communication to motivate staff and children.
• Excellent planning and organisation; manage registrations and records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the service.
• Plan and organise day-to-day activities for children aged 3 to end of Primary 7.
• Provide high-quality care and a range of stimulating activities.
• Assist with staff management and rota planning.
• Support learning and development in a safe, inclusive environment.
