Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council is seeking a Play Assistant for Scone Kids Club Breakfast service, before school. This term-time, 5-hour-per-week role runs from 8am to 9am, to support high-quality care and a range of stimulating activities for children.

The role offers a stepping stone into childcare with support to gain a childcare qualification. No entry qualifications are required, and progression toward a recognised qualification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• No entry qualifications are required.
• Commitment to gaining a Scottish childcare qualification.
• Must register with the SSSC for Day Care of Children within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care and activities for children.
• Support the Supervisor and Kids Club Team to contribute to learning and development.
• Work outside school hours in a registered childcare service.
