Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a Bradford primary school. The role offers a full-time schedule with daytime hours and competitive daily pay between £92 and £105, plus weekly pay and ongoing consultant support.

You will provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence across the KS1/KS2 range. Experience in primary settings and safeguarding awareness are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Level 2 Childcare qualification (desirable).
• SEN-specific qualifications or training advantageous.
• Understanding of KS1/KS2 curriculum.
• Commitment to pupil progress and development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good safeguarding and child welfare understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver tailored interventions and support programmes.
• Support learning across the primary age range.
• Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.
• Work with teachers, SENCOs, and parents on learning plans.
• Support small group activities when required.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
