Job summary

Brook Street is recruiting Housing & Mental Health Support Workers across a range of services in Wales. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available to support people with mental health needs, homelessness, domestic abuse, and related challenges.

You will provide person-centred support in housing, hostels and community settings, encourage independence, and help clients access vital services. The role offers ongoing training, flexibility, and the chance to make a real difference every day.

Qualifications

  • Experience in support work, housing, mental health, or a related field is desirable.
  • Ability to provide person-centred support and build trusting relationships.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important.

Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred support in supported housing, hostels, and community settings
  • Supporting individuals with mental health and emotional well-being needs
  • Assisting people affected by domestic abuse and substance misuse
  • Helping clients engage with probation and other professional services
  • Encouraging independence, well being, and positive life choices
  • Building trusting relationships and being a consistent source of support
