Job summary

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with Blind Veterans UK on a Digital Programme Manager role. You will oversee and deliver strategic digital initiatives, coordinating across teams to achieve key outcomes and ensure impact.

The role establishes delivery infrastructure for digital transformation and reports to the Head of digital, helping the Digital Team operate more consistently while balancing BAU delivery as the model matures.

Qualifications

• Experience managing digital programmes or complex digital projects.
• Strong governance, risk, issue, dependency and resource management.
• Ability to gather and prioritise digital requirements from non-technical stakeholders and write clear user stories.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of user-centred, accessible and evidence-led delivery.
• Experience assuring UAT and accessibility testing across digital products, services or launches.
• Able to work with suppliers and internal technical specialists.
• Experience managing people and creating a supportive, accountable team environment.
• Strong project management skills; oversee a wider programme of work.
• Comfortable with wagile, agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery methods.
• Formal PM training or certifications (PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum, APM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist programme and delivery advice to the Head of digital on approach, sequencing, resourcing and governance.
• Manage the digital programme plan, roadmap, milestones and reporting cadence.
• Keep audience needs and digital experience at the centre of delivery and manage priorities.
• Design, set up, and improve digital programme, project and team processes.
• Coordinate input from business owners across Digital, Data & Insight, Transformation, Fundraising, Services and Volunteering.
• Line manage the Digital project manager, Digital tech manager and Digital insights analyst.
