Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist in Infectious Diseases to advance preclinical research on Immuno-therapeutic modalities for chronic infections, including HIV/HBV/EBV-associated diseases. The role covers planning, execution, data interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration across Research and other departments.

You will work with advanced molecular and cellular techniques in a matrixed team, participate in internal and external presentations, and contribute to pipeline progression

Qualifications

• Essential: PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology, or related science; 0–2 years of related experience
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant relevant bench experience in molecular biology and immunology

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support project goals within defined timelines
• Execute molecular and cellular experiments and analyze data; present findings in internal meetings
