Job summary

Oxford Immunocore is seeking a Scientist in Infectious Diseases to contribute to preclinical research across the HIV, HBV and EBV-related disease space. The role involves planning and performing experiments, data analysis, and presenting results to multiple teams within a matrixed organization.

The successful candidate will work with a range of molecular and cellular techniques in a CL3 facility, collaborating with Research and other departments to progress innovative ImmTAX-based strategies

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, virology, immunology or related discipline with 0–2 years' related experience.
• Alternatively, a BSc or MSc with significant bench experience in relevant scientific areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute experiments to support advancing the company pipeline.
• Conduct experiments using molecular and cellular techniques to address key questions.
• Analyse data, interpret results and present findings in internal meetings.
