Job summary

Mitchell Adam client in Smethwick is seeking a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will process purchase invoices, respond to supplier queries and perform supplier statement reconciliations.

In a small, supportive finance function reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll enjoy flexible hours and the potential to become permanent, plus study support and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a transactional finance role including Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator experience.
• Be a car driver due to location.
• Be immediately available to start.
• Have excellent communication skills with suppliers.

Responsibilities

My client is an established business based in Smethwick, and they are currently recruiting for a part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Working in a small and friendly finance function, you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for processing purchase invoices, dealing with supplier queries, and performing supplier statement reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance candidate to join a friendly finance team on a temporary to permanent basis where you will have flexibility over the hours you do.

Skills required:

• At least 6 months experience in a transactional finance role including Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator experience
