Position: Maths Secondary Teacher

Competitive pay: £160–£210 per day
Age Group: KS3/KS4
Contract: Full-Time
About the Role:
• As a Maths Teacher, you will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as in whole-class settings.
• You will present your own knowledge and follow the curriculum to educate students.
• You will focus on helping students who need extra support with their work, ensuring they grasp essential concepts to improve their academic progress and exam results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure high attainment.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with a talented staff team.
What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role:
• Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS or Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience in teaching Maths using the British curriculum
• Passion for Maths, teaching and helping young people succeed
• Experience working in a classroom or tutoring environment is desirable
• Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis
• A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education)
• A determined, hard-working attitude
