Duties

We seek a passionate Teacher to work with children aged 8 to 16 with special educational needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism (ASD), and social & emotional difficulties. You will deliver high-quality teaching in a safe environment, helping prepare students for their next life stage. The role is based at a Special Education Needs college supporting children and young people with Autism (ASD).

Criteria

• Knowledge of working with children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or SEMH
• Understanding of Safeguarding and child protection guidelines
• PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed, or equivalent teaching qualification, with evidence of ongoing training
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to foster positive, enabling relationships with students
