You will support the CBU Manager in daily service management, capacity planning and transformation workstreams to deliver high-quality patient care.
The role requires working closely with the CBU leadership team, managing the CBU administrator, and contributing to governance, performance and improvement across specialties within the unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an excellent Clinical Business Unit within a dynamic and challenging arena. The successful applicant will be working closely with the CBU triumvirate leadership team and will work under the guidance of the CBU Manager.

The CBU employs a wide range of professionals including but not limited to, Doctors, Nurses and Admin teams. The successful candidate will be a valuable member of this team and the wider Trust.
As the CBU Assistant Manager you will support the CBU Manager in the daily management of the service, operational planning and management of the Clinical Business Unit, ensuring that all available capacity is utilised. The CBU Assistant Manager will also support the Clinical team in a range of transformation workstreams to improve services and deliver high quality care to our patients.
The post holder will manage and ensure that all clinical activity is appropriately recorded to ensure maximisation of income from payment by result.
The post holder will support the Clinical Leads and Matrons in each specialty to ensure there is an effective governance and assurance system in place, facilitating improvement within their scope of responsibility.
The post holder will provide line management to the CBU administrator.
The post holder will provide assistance in the management of complaints.
