Imaging Support Worker

Imaging Support workers keep the Medical Imaging department working by transporting patients between the department and wards for various imaging tests & procedures. They are the face of the department when regularly walking through the hospital corridors & wards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, caring and motivated individual to join our Portering team within the Medical Imaging department at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, with full-time or part-time contracts available. The post holder(s) must be flexible and hardworking.

Porters play a crucial part in keeping the Medical Imaging working by moving patients between wards and the department for various tests and procedures as required. As a porter in Medical Imaging you will play a vital part in the provision of excellent care to our patients.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed team members who are willing to work hard to maintain our service.

Previous experience is not essential as full training is provided on commencement of employment.

This role can be physically demanding, whilst walking distances of up to 10 miles a day.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday with optional weekend working 22.5 hours
