Job summary

Circle Health Group's The Park Hospital in Nottingham is seeking a Patient Administrator to support the imaging department. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, and permanent, with a flexible shift pattern to cover.

You will handle patient administration along the journey, process bookings, manage mail, and ensure health and safety policies are followed. The successful candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English and be proficient with a PC.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of a PC and common software.
• Experience in private healthcare administration is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Follow best practice process maps to provide a professional service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Deal with patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received by email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure related measures.
