Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Imaging Clerical Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support within Radiology. You will handle patient bookings, respond to queries, and contribute to efficient workflow across MRI, X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound services.

Role involves flexible shifts between 8am–8pm on weekdays and 8am–5pm weekends, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and patient experience in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in clerical/administrative health records is preferred.
• Customer care experience and able to handle patients.
• Familiar with hospital IT systems and data entry processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the MRI reception desk; ensure safety screening questionnaires are completed.
• Greet and assist patients at the X-Ray reception desk; book in-patients, track walk-ins, and coordinate with Outpatient Department.
