Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised administrator to join our Radiology Department’s administration team. You will help provide a responsive imaging service by rotating through administrative areas and supporting Consultants, the Service Manager and other Team Leads.

The role includes scheduling on the Radiology Information System (RIS), relaying exam instructions to ward staff and MDT members, and participating in a weekend

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative work with strong organisational skills.
• Familiarity with Radiology Information System (RIS) software.
• Ability to schedule appointments and communicate instructions to ward staff and MDT members.

Responsibilities

• Rotate around administrative work areas within Radiology.
• Provide admin support to Consultants, Service Manager and Team Leads.
• Schedule appointments on RIS and relay examination instructions to ward staff and MDT.
• Participate in a weekend rota with unsupervised duties and chaperoning patients.
• Utilise medical abbreviations and terminology to accurately schedule examinations.
