Job summary

Mid and South Essex University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic, reliable imaging assistants to join the Radiology department. The role involves rotation through CT, Ultrasound and MRI, assisting with patient care and preparing lists.

Candidates should enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team, with on-the-job training provided. Nights are worked on rotation within a group of 10 staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to rotate across CT, Ultrasound, MRI and community hospitals.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiology staff with imaging procedures and patient preparation.
• Chaperone and help maintain patient comfort during procedures.
• Coordinate patient lists and support 24-hour radiology service.
