ICT Technician - Secondary School & Sixth Form

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:15pm Immediate Start Available Autumn Term Initially | Potential to Become Long-Term

Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Secondary School and Sixth Form located near Birmingham City Centre for an experienced ICT Technician to join their IT support team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically skilled ICT Technician seeking a full-time school-based role, supporting both staff and students across a busy and dynamic educational environment. The position is initially for the Autumn Term but has the potential to continue on a long-term basis for the right candidate.

The Role

As the school's ICT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school's technology infrastructure, providing technical support and maintaining IT systems across the site.

Duties will include:
  • Providing first and second-line IT support to staff and students
  • Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Supporting Windows operating systems, networking and cloud-based platforms
  • Managing user accounts and permissions

Essential Criteria

Applicants MUST have previous experience working as an ICT Technician within a school, college or education setting.

Applications without education-sector ICT experience will not be considered.

You will also have:

Important Information

Candidates must be available to attend an interview or trial at short notice.

The successful ICT Technician will be expected to start as soon as possible.
