Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking a Curriculum Leader for ICT to lead, shape and develop the ICT curriculum across Computing, IT and Digital disciplines while continuing to teach and stay connected with students.

You will drive quality, planning, delivery, staff development and data-driven improvements, ensuring compliance with awarding bodies and expanding employer links and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Curriculum leadership experience with ability to motivate colleagues and drive standards.
• Strong knowledge of ICT and vocational provision with industry experience.
• Learner-first approach to improving teaching, learning and student experience.
• Confident with data and performance to identify priorities and drive improvements.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Level 6 ICT subject qualification and Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness) plus Level 2 English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and develop the ICT curriculum across Computing, IT and Digital.
• Support and develop colleagues; drive delivery, attendance and progression improvements.
• Ensure quality and compliance with awarding bodies and internal verification.
• Use data and insight to identify priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Strengthen employer links, progression opportunities and wider faculty direction.
