Yeovil College is seeking a Curriculum Leader for ICT (Computing, IT, Digital). You will lead the ICT curriculum, shaping direction and quality while continuing to teach and stay connected with students and the subject you’re passionate about.

Responsibilities include day-to-day curriculum leadership, planning, and data-driven improvements in attendance, retention, and progression. You will ensure quality and compliance, supporting growth and employer engagement within the Creative and Digital

Qualifications

• Experience leading a curriculum area within Further Education or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ICT and vocational/apprenticeship provision with industry links.
• Learner-centred approach with focus on teaching quality and student experience.
• Data-driven with ability to use insights to raise attendance, retention and progression.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional qualifications including Level 7 ICT, Level 5 teaching and Level 2 English/Maths.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the ICT curriculum within the Creative and Digital Industries faculty.
• Lead on curriculum planning, delivery, and quality improvements.
• Support and develop colleagues; use data to drive improvements in attendance and progression.
• Oversee quality and compliance, including awarding body requirements and internal verification.
• Develop curriculum and employer/progression opportunities, contributing to faculty direction.
