Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an ICT/ Computer Science Teacher to join our Derby-based team. The role involves planning and delivering engaging ICT/Computer Science lessons, inspiring students to develop digital skills, computational thinking and understanding of computer science.

The successful candidate will deliver lessons across ICT/CS, support practical and theoretical learning, and contribute to the broader department. QTS or equivalent is desirable; experience in ICT/CS is welcomed.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
• Experience teaching ICT/Computer Science is advantageous.
• Able to teach students with a range of abilities and adapt to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive ICT/CS lessons.
• Help students develop practical skills and theoretical understanding of computer science.
• Foster a positive learning environment and maintain high safeguarding standards.
