Job summary

Back TO Work is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Level 3 Apprentice to support its IT operations in the West Midlands. The role offers hands-on experience across hardware, software and network systems while developing technical skills and cyber security awareness.

The apprentice will provide frontline support to staff and end-users, work with IT colleagues, and contribute to documentation and user guides as part of a growing IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and end-users, resolving hardware, software and network issues
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment including computers, mobiles and printers
• Support management and deployment of operating systems and application software
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure: Wi-Fi, LAN and telephony
• Assist with cyber security tasks and IT security awareness initiatives
• Handle data backup and recovery procedures
• Create and update technical documentation and user guides
• Deliver excellent customer service in-person and remotely
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and other departments to solve problems and improve services
