ICP Project Engineer

Job summary

Vinci is seeking a project leader to drive ICP projects from inception through energisation and handover, ensuring safety, compliance and technical excellence across the portfolio.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors and DNO/IDNO partners, delivering on time and within budget while mentoring engineers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ICP project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NERS accreditation requirements.
• Experience delivering HV network projects (11kV/33kV).
• Understanding of DNO/IDNO specifications and procedures.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• SMSTS (or equivalent).
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICP projects from inception through energisation and handover.
• Manage programme performance, commercial outcomes, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, DNOs, IDNOs, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and support across the wider business for ICP opportunities and project delivery.
• Drive compliance with NERS requirements, utility standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Site Managers and operational teams.
• Support business growth through planning, resource management and project governance.
• Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture.

• Lead the delivery of ICP projects from inception through to energisation and final handover.
• Manage programme performance, commercial outcomes, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, DNOs, IDNOs, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and support across the wider business for ICP opportunities and project delivery.
• Drive compliance with NERS requirements, utility standards, and industry regulations.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Site Managers and operational teams.
• Support business growth through effective planning, resource management, and project governance.
• Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture.

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• NERS supervisory or auditing experience.
• Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or operational authorisations.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification.
• Professional membership (IET or similar).
