Job summary

Expertise Delivered is seeking an EPC Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects from pre-construction to completion in Yorkshire. The role requires coordinating design, commissioning, and handover, with a focus on safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

You will engage customers and stakeholders, manage FEED and contracting, monitor progress, and guide tendering while ensuring CDM and SHESQ standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent; extensive experience in infrastructure projects.
• NEC3/NEC4 ECC Project Manager qualified.
• Proven infrastructure project/program management.
• PM Qualification (APM, PRINCE2).
• Full UK driving licence.
• TP144 and NEBOSH/IOSH certified.
• Strong knowledge of electricity transmission and CDM regulations.
• Skilled in risk, contract, and financial management.
• Desirable progression towards chartered status in relevant bodies.
• Experience with DCO processes and RIIO frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment and pre-construction activities for complex projects.
• Ensure positive customer and stakeholder engagement.
• Deliver compliant, low-cost solutions aligned with CDM and SHESQ standards.
• Manage project delivery, design, commissioning, and closure stages.
• Support consenting, cost estimation, risk mitigation, and innovation efforts.
• Assess FEED requirements, manage contractors, budgets, and contracts.
• Monitor project progress with SHE, risk, milestones, and financial reporting.
• Guide tendering, develop NEC documentation, and act as Client's Representative/Principle Designer.
• Coordinate contractors and teams to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Oversee site safety, environmental compliance, and CDM adherence.
• Lead commissioning, testing, asset handover, and documentation.
• Manage third-party relations to protect corporate reputation.
• Maintain authorisations, chair commissioning panels, and mentor junior managers.
• Support Senior Project Managers and lead DCO preparation/examinations where relevant.
