Bluegate Consulting Ltd. is seeking an IC Layout Engineer in Durham to translate complex designs into precise layouts and support the mask-release process. The role involves creating layouts and reticle sets, and documenting design and mask-release steps.

You will coordinate with customers, engineers, Program Managers, and mask manufacturers while maintaining accurate design records throughout the project lifecycle. Must have a science or engineering background and strong CAD skills.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years’ electronic or electrical engineering experience with CAD.
• Familiarity with KLayout, L-Edit, Nazca Design or similar layout software.
• Programming knowledge (ideally Python or similar).

• Create IC layouts and reticle sets.
• Prepare design and mask-release documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, Program Managers and mask manufacturers; keep design records accurate and up to date.
• Support internal and external customers from first IC concept through mask release.
