Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a MMIC Layout Engineer to join a leading UK-based semiconductor client in County Durham. A British passport is required for security clearance.

You will provide technical expertise to the Process and Product Engineering Departments in generating IC and mask reticle designs for internal and external customers, with opportunities for career development as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Physics/Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Familiarity with CAD layout tools such as KLayout, NAZCA-Design or similar.
• Excellent mathematical skills and team ethic.

Responsibilities

• Providing layout support
• Liaising with IC mask manufacturers, customers, engineers and programme managers to ensure reticle development meets timescales
• Participating in design and mask release reviews related to layout support
